Article Hybrid Electric Vehicle Manufacturer IMPA Test Day at Pocono Raceway with the Toyota Prius Long Pond, PA: After a beautiful ride though the forest on one of my favorite back roads, I arrived at Pocono International Raceway on a clear sunny day. I had one purpose today; To photograph and drive the gasoline - electric hybrid Toyota Prius, ... a vehicle that has impressed me since it has became available to the public thanks to Toyota's very commendable efforts for producing a unique and well designed vehicle for the future. Thanks to Wade Hoyt, Toyota America's PR representative, soon I was off driving around the infield of the raceway on one of the nicest days in the Pocono mountains. The Prius was comfortable, quiet, and stylish, with many well designed features you would expect from Toyota engineering. The color LCD panel which monitors the efficiency of this unique vehicle is a very informative. I found my journey inside the track too short, an annoying occupational drawback from this "fan".
